POEM SHARE: Children's poets from across the globe presenting their favorite poems for Poetry Month and beyond!

Today's POEM SHARE is by science and nature children's author Leslie Bulion.  Leslie takes us on a journey to the Galápagos Islands to learn the fascinating antics of the Galápagos penguins.

"Galápagos Penguins" is from Leslie's  book Galápagos: Islands of Change, about the amazing land and sea ecosystem of the Galápagos Islands.

What ecosystems have you learned about in school? Try writing a poem describing the behaviors of an animal from one of those ecosystems.

Happy poetry reading and writing, everyone!
