Matt Forrest Esenwine Shares "Elegant Danger"

POEM SHARE: Children's poets from across the globe presenting their favorite poems for Poetry Month and beyond!

In today's POEM SHARE, Matt Forrest Esenwine reads "Elegant Danger," his poem about a small but fierce creature of the sea, the peacock mantis shrimp.

Matt's poem is from A Universe of Rainbows, his poetry anthology illustrated by Jamey Cristoph. A Universe of Rainbows explores all kinds of different rainbows, not just those in the sky! In this anthology, Matt has invited acclaimed children's poets from around the world to share poems about bursts of color found throughout nature.
